How to prepare for your home visit
Your home is considered a workspace during the time that the massage therapist is in your home for the visit. Please clear pathways and ensure a clutter-free environment to prevent accidents. Please no strong odors, and ensure all pets are secure in a separate room.
Prior to the visit, choose a quiet and private space with a minimum area of 10'x12' for optimal accessibility and comfort. The room should have comfortable lightning and temperature, away from any distractions and noise. However, there can be accommodations based on your home. Additionally, designate a private area behind closed doors where I can wash my hands and wait while you prepare to dress down to your desired level of comfort and lay on the table underneath the sheets.Â
You may have your own music of your choosing playing in the background at a modest volume. Consider playing easy, soothing music that helps with relaxation such as nature sounds. I do have several playlists available for choosing as well.
Upon setting up the massage table, I will conduct an intake assessment to tailor the session to your specific needs. At the conclusion of the session, I will perform an outtake procedure and ensure the area is left clean and orderly.
If a therapist feels unsafe or encounters any concerning situations during a session, they have the right to terminate the appointment immediately and leave the premises. Clients are expected to cooperate with the therapist's decision and understand that safety is paramount.
